Count on Coal Montana, a campaign that touts the benefits of coal development, hosted a Coal Appreciation Day Saturday at MetraPark in Billings.

Spokesperson Chuck Denowh said the event drew nearly 700 citizens concerned about and interested in coal development in Montana.

“The event was a way for our industry to thank the community for their support for the coal industry,” Denowh said.
